Author Bio



Lisa Edward is the author of the Songbird trilogy, the novels Ripped and Broken, the novella Duty of Care and a contributor to the collation of short stories in Hook & Ladder 69, and Bleed Blue 69.

 While Lisa has called Melbourne Australia home for her entire life, she has lived and worked in England, and travelled through most parts of Europe and the United States. She loves nothing more than spending time with her beautiful daughter, or curling up into the early hours of the morning with a great novel.

 By day, Lisa works in the analytical IT field, so relishes the opportunity to foster her creative side through writing. Her deep appreciation for literature was nurtured from a young age, being taught to respect books and get lost in their stories. The crowd suddenly hushed and she stopped talking to focus on the scene unfolding in front of her. The door to the newly arrived ship had opened, and a hot as hell male walked through it. At first glance, he appeared almost human, with short, black hair and a neatly trimmed beard. His skin was a shimmering silver, though, and he was taller than most of the humans and Pheran present. Another male followed after the first, and she had to bite her lip not to sigh in appreciation. The second male was a little taller and broader than the first, and his skin had a golden sheen to it. His hair was long enough to be tied back, but his beard was as closely cropped as his silver companions.
“They don’t look much like aliens.”
Zale grunted. “Maybe not to you.”
That was the moment both males unfurled their wings. Holy fraxx. They had wings! “I take it back. Wings are definitely alien.”

Author Bio
Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family, and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef.
If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.

BOOK REVIEW

If someone wrote a spoof of an erotic scifi romance this hilarious and sexy story would be it. 

 What am I saying? 

 This author has written a SFR spoof. Except this not only pokes fun at the genre but also retains all those elements we love in a scifi romance story, including the OMG! cocky giant alien with his thingymadooda as humongous as an anaconda.

 The author understands the genre and she delivered. She created an alien world that I could imagine and characters I'm eager to engage, including an array of alien warriors whose stories I want to read and that includes one who is doubly-hung. Someone is going to be a lucky bia*ch. LOL

 Yep! It's that kind of story and I'm not ashamed to say that I loved it. I'm not going to bore you with a rehash. Just to tell you that if you love scifi romance, then what are you waiting for? Grab your copy.
