It's not very often I say this about a BDSM book but I loved this story. This is certainly an author I'm going to read more of. There's one word I could use to describe the writing style--exquisite.
From the first page you're pulled into Grace's world. She's a self-destructive exhibitionist who has been in 'recovery' for a year until a friend invites her to a BDSM party and she ends up on display as the 'guestbook'. She needs to deny this part of herself but wants the release that Jason Wright promises. I totally connected with Grace. I loved that she wasn't falling at Jason's feet from the first time she saw him.
Jason is a top who knows how to give a bottom/sub what he or she wants. He loves dominating people and gets off on pushing peoples boundaries. When he meets Grace, he finds the perfect canvass for his art. But will Grace finally let go and stop fighting her demons?
I said already I love this book. There is a great cast of engaging characters and the scenes are just beautiful. The only thing I could've done without were the scenes involving others outside of Jason and Grace. But I also understand the author was trying to get the reader to understand what made Jason tick.
If you love BDSM erotica then you've got to read this.
