When is a Dom not a Dom? When it stops him from being with the man he loves…

Athol Donaldson lost many people in his life, his lover, his family, his twin. The latter loss seems hardly worth morning over. Affric caused nothing but trouble when alive, and now, he seems intent on causing trouble from beyond the grave.

It forces Athol to seek out the one man he's never forgotten.
Eden Murdoch has no intention of letting Athol slip through his fingers again. He's lost him once, and as they're forced to pull together to unravel the mystery surrounding the parentage of a teenage girl, their love for each other blossoms.

Surely, being Doms doesn't mean they can't compromise? Will they be able to work out their differences, and find lasting happiness, or will this blast from the past prove to be their final undoing?

In the hot seat with Athol from A Dom's Decision by @RavenMcAllan #LGBTApril

In the Hot Seat series, we interview characters from some of our favourite books and ask them 20 probing questions.

Today, we have Athol from A Dom's Decision by Raven McAllan featured as part of our #LGBTApril month. Now on to the interview. J

  1. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Being honest? Oh honey, I don't think I'm anywhere near having a greatest achievement, unless you call standing up to my parents, Helping Anna and Cade, or admitting to Edan I'd been a stubborn…*ahem*, an achievement.

#TeaserTuesday + Opening Paragraph: A Dom's Decision by @RavenMcAllan #LGBTApril

#TeaserTuesday + Opening Paragraph: A Dom's Decision by @RavenMcAllan #LGBTApril

Welcome to First Chapter, First Paragraph hosted by Bibliophile By The Sea as well as Teaser Tuesday hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

In honour of LGBT Month #LGBTApril, I'm reading A Dom's Decision by Raven McAllan.

Here's the Opening Paragraph:

Athol Donaldson stood by the grave of his grandmother and wept. For what he had, and wouldn't have any more. For what had gone by and couldn't be repeated. And for what had been said in anger, and never retracted. He'd loved her dearly, and she him. But her acceptance of his lifestyle had created a rift between him and his parents, and worse still, between her and his parents. Now that rift could never be healed.

Here's my teaser:

"Maybe one day," Athol said slowly. "Once we've sorted this crap out. Life as a lonely Dom ain't all it's cracked up to be. Not when everyone around you is loved up and pairing up. Well, nearly everyone," he said.

Thank you for stopping by. Leave me a comment and I'll return the visit shortly.

Have a great week. Kay xx
