BOOK REVIEW
When I read the blurb about the heroine being a
sex-therapist I was pretty sure it would be super erotic. It wasn’t and that
made the romance reader in me happy. Don’t get me wrong, it got pretty heated,
but I didn’t have to skip sex scenes because they dragged. Everything the
couple engaged in was relevant.
I had a tiny issue with the resolution of the story only
because it happened too quickly and didn’t seem realistic. To be honest I
would’ve liked to see the heroine get some therapy (more than sexual) for her
problems because they were so ingrained in her. Her issues were fabulous for
driving the story forward, but they were deep and I don’t think they’d be as
easy to resolve as they were in the novella.
There were moments in the story where I gasped in
embarrassment for the heroine because, oh my goodness! But then I ended up
laughing because, well, oh my goodness! The life of a sex therapist must be
very intriguing.
