OMG! I can't stop grinning. This book made me so happy I can't fully explain it. I'm not sure I want to read another book for a long time because I don't want this feeling to go away. Maybe I'll just listen to this book again tonight.
This book has catapulted Cardeno C to the top of my favourite MM Romance authors list. Every thing I expect in a romance is here. There's lust and love, there's humour and emotion. I really cannot fault this story or the way very sensitive subjects were dealt with. Mitch is just the way I expect alpha heroes to be, dominant and yet vulnerable in his own way and above all else patient and protective. I loved Simon's strength despite everything he'd been through.
The narration is less than 4 hours long, so I got through it quite quickly and I really enjoyed the narrators voice. He projected the characters very well.
All in all, this is a fabulous audio book, one that I will listen to again and again. A keeper. Go and grab your copy. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
