Welcome to Teaser Tuesday hosted by Should Be Reading and First Chapter, First Paragraph hosted by Bibliophile By The Sea.
This week I'm trying something different. Instead of the written word, I've got an audio book to share with you. The Good Sister part one by +London Saint James
Just click the button to play the audio clip of the Opening Scene and Teaser. You can choose how much of the clip you listen to.
Here's the blurb:
The Good Sister part one |
Reid Addison feared nothing, except how the mousey little blonde daughter of his housekeeper made him feel. Even though Trinity Winslow wasn't his type, there was something intriguing about her.
Lord Ashton Archer lived a fairy tale life with property all over the world, was heir to a ducal dynasty, and had women fawning all over him. Anything a man could want, he obtained by the snap of his fingers.
By a twist of fate, the three of them find their way into the same illicit world of the infamous Madam Jacqueline Claudette Rousseau. But will they find what each of them truly desires? Or will they always long for the forbidden?
My Thoughts:
I thoroughly enjoyed this spell-binding coming of age story of personal discovery. The audio narration by Kitty Barclay totally brings the story and characters alive. You can read my full 5 Lovebites review here.
What do you think? Would you listen on? Leave me a comment and I'll return your visit shortly.
Have a fab week.
Kay xx
Sounds intriguing...may not be my cup of tea, but I'm definitely curious. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

It sounds good and I'm glad you really enjoyed it, Kay!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, hope you have a lovely day :)
II did. Thank you, Sylvia.
DeleteA narrator can make or break an audio book, and it sounds like this one is a winner.
ReplyDeleteIt is. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI agree with Literary, this narrator makes me want to read the book, but the book cover may be a bit much for my house >_<
ReplyDeleteHere is my TT The Kite Runner
LOL. It's an audio book. Nobody else gets to see the cover but you.
DeleteI don't listen to audiobooks, but that is a good idea to share it here! Sorry, but steamy reads are not my cup of tea. However I hope you enjoy it very much.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
DeleteI'm really not much for audio books....and I'm not sure this is my kind of book anyway. But interesting idea to share the audio! Bet those that DO listen to audio books appreciate it!

Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteSome audio books have been unforgettable (Angela's Ashes, read by Frank McCourt for example). This one sounds good too. I'd listen to it.
ReplyDeleteMy Teaser is from WHERE OR WHEN.
Thank you, Sandra. It's a good one.
DeleteAn interesting change for your TT this week. Thanks for visiting my TT http://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2014/08/12/teaser-tuesday-august-12/
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cleo.
DeleteThe romance genre isn't my cup of tea, but this is a good intro. It definitely pulls you right into the narrator's mind and heart. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Irene.
DeleteI like having three characters in the mix here. I'd like to read this one. (I couldn't get my audio thing to work so glad you included the description.)
ReplyDeleteSorry the audio didn't work for you, Margot. The eBook is available via Amazon.
DeleteThe voice of the narrator is good, but probably not the kind of book I would be drawn to -- enjoy and thanks for joining in.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, Diane.
DeleteI don't do well with audio books (can't seem to hold my attention), but the story is something I would read. Peggy @ The Pegster Reads
ReplyDeleteI hope you check it out, Peggy. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteNever tried an audiobook before. The story sounds interesting but I'm a bit uncomfortable with love triangles. May be because I don't like to take sides.
DeleteThanks for visiting and following my blog.
New follower,

The audio wouldn't work for me (I'm having trouble with that atm) but it sounds good! :)
