Synopsis
Six years later, the new and improved version of the girl she used to be steered clear of romance, love and late night promises. Maya's Review
This is a fun and sexy read about Angela the owner of a Gentlemen's club, Bare Assets. She left Arkansas with a broken heart and had closed off her heart ever since. When Dean starts hanging around her establishment, she allows herself to listen to gossip about him instead of giving into the attraction between them. But just as Dean starts breaking down her walls, her ex turns up with a sob story of his own and shacks up in her house.
There's enough drama and smexiness going on to keep you turning the pages but I would've like for this to have spent less time in the character's heads and more in dialogue or actions.
Still a good read.

This is the story of Cutter Harrison who is Angela's ex (from Bare Assets). It was good that the author gave him his own story as I wanted to know what happened to him after reading the first book in the series.

This is the story of Cutter Harrison who is Angela's ex (from Bare Assets). It was good that the author gave him his own story as I wanted to know what happened to him after reading the first book in the series.
Cutter is nursing his wounds with women, beer and country music until he meets, Holly who is a music agent out to fund the next big thing in country music. Their attraction is instantaneous although the two of them fight it for a while.
This is a great love story and I'm glad to see an improvement in the author's writing style, making this a much easier read than the first one.
