What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Akash:
When I get a spice blend perfectly the first time, my creation comes out
tasting amazing and I don’t have to throw it all in the bin and start over.
LBAS:
What is your current state of mind?
Akash:
Calm.
LBAS:
What is your most treasured possession?
Akash:
My sister would say my cat. I’d say the rolling pin that’s been used by the
bakers in my family going back centuries to my
great-great-something-grandmother in India.
LBAS:
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Akash:
Hamish. Blockheaded retired Royal Marine that he is.
LBAS:
What is your greatest fear?
Akash:
Disappointing my parents.
LBAS:
What is the quality you most like in a man/woman?
Akash:
Honesty. A sense of humour. Respect. A cute arse, doesn’t hurt either.
LBAS:
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Akash:
Lies. Bullying.
LBAS:
On what occasions do you lie?
Akash:
To avoid angering my eldest sister, Padma.
To avoid hurting Padma’s, my little sister, feelings. To keep from getting a lecture from my well-meaning
parents.
LBAS:
Which is your favorite word or phrase?
Akash:
Not sure I really have one. I talk about dough a lot.
LBAS:
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Akash:
I wish I did have so many scars on my hands from getting burnt while baking.
