EXCERPT
“Peyton?”
She’d known he was awake. He’d woken the moment she touched him. Sangel was awake
as well. She could feel him growing tense behind her. “What are you doing?”
“I
need to taste you.”
“Taste
me? Is that a human custom?”
“Oh,
I’m betting it’s a custom of yours as well. I want to run my tongue all over
you. I want to know the feel of you. How you taste.”
“Oh.
Yes. I mean, no.”
She
grinned at his uncustomary indecisiveness.
“No?
Are you really turning me down?”
“I
do not know if this is a good idea.”
“No,
it isn’t a good idea,” she agreed as she straddled his hips. Jeez he was wide,
and Sangel was wider still. Would they even fit inside her? She thought they
somehow would. That her body, slim and boy-like though it was, was made for
theirs. That maybe she was supposed to be with them.
While
the ship had rocked and rolled under the force of the space pirate’s attack,
she’d done some thinking. And she’d realized she couldn’t go on without knowing
what it was like to be with them. Would she take it any further than that? She
didn’t know. Was this fair to them? Maybe not. But she could no longer hold
back. She had to know.
“This
is a great idea.”
“Peyton,
are you certain?” Sangel asked.
She
looked over at him. “Yes. I just want to feel the two of you against me. To
know that we’re all alive and safe. It’s not a promise of anything. I can’t do
that. I’m not ready. But please tell me you want this as well. Want me.”
