Calla Lily - Book 2
A family illness brings Lily back to her home town and away from the mess she found herself in. We see Lily enter into the world of business in an effort to keep the family business going. Her personal life ebbs and flows and Lily enjoys the sexy encounters that put a spring in her step. But sometimes trying to pick up where you left off is not a good idea, especially where the person concerned has not been as honest as they should be. She experiences more betrayal and hurt but this time she is a much stronger person who drives her own path.
In this book we get to know Lily on a deeper level, her own hopes and dreams and who she wants to be.
The narrative remains in present tense and mostly dialogue which makes this story move swiftly.

Tiger Lily Book 3
The family business dominates Lily's world. Making decisions that could affect the future of the whole family are uppermost in her mind. She enjoys a varied sex life in this book as in the previous books but this time these encounters don't seem to make as much sense as in the other books. Even when she meets someone who gives her the happiness she wants, the happy-for-now ending seems too quick and not as believable, making this book less satisfying than the previous two books of the series.
However, the author develops the character of Lily's sister Dahlia and the prologue attached is a great hook into the next book. I'm looking forward to reading Blue Dahlia.
