Review

Maya's Review

This is a lovely, enjoyable story based around a family and their businesses. At the beginning we find out Tony's wife is in hospital having surgery for liver cancer and all of the family are gathered around to support Tony and Nikki.

This is where we meet Molly, Peyton and Jose. Peyton is also dealing with some bad family issues around his younger siblings. You immediately connect with him as well as Molly and Jose. I love the way the characters really supported each other even when there was no blood connection.

I really liked the way Peyton and Molly got together. I loved that despite him being reluctant to rush things, she took charge and pushed for what she wanted. Of course when Jose enters the equation things ramp up and tension mounts. I'm not quite sure why Molly had a problem with their age gap since she'd already been with Peyton who was also younger than her. Jose was just so HOT.

There is quite a cast of characters and I almost wanted to have some kind of family tree of the characters to see where everyone fitted in since I hadn't read the previous books in the series. But I still enjoyed having the connection of a close knit family and colleagues.
