Erotic Romance
Kay's Review
I enjoyed this very erotic twist to a fairy tale. Sven is in school with sky-high students loans and diminishing job prospects when he sees an advert for an apprentice to a master thief. He is intrigued and applies for the position, thinking it'll be a good way to learn a job while earning a living. But he gets more than he bargained for. His new boss has a penchant for domestic discipline where you can get splayed over the desk and spanked for being late.
And that wasn't the only thing Madeleine had up her sleeve.
Sven is an interesting character and I enjoyed his interactions with Madeleine. His first assignment to rob a haunted house was both hilarious and scary at the same time. There were a few twists, finding out more about Madeleine heritage as a witch and the reason they had to go into the haunted house.
I have to admit I began to really love this story halfway through when Madeleine loosened up a bit and we saw less of the madam and more of the woman beneath all the domineering. It was good to see she wasn't as secured inside as she projected outwardly
Their chemistry together totally sizzled, the love scenes were hot and the tug of emotions as they struggled to accept the changes they needed to make to accomodate each other was beautiful.
This is a new to me author and I'll be reading her again. Happy to recommend this. Go and grab a copy.
