This is another great read from this author. Laura is such a fab character and a brave one too. Imagine having to live your life as someone else because your husband wants you to become his dead wife. That is so soul-sucking and esteem-destroying. Laura finally has enough and tells her brother who ships her off to be protected by Bowie, her brother's friend. This time around she takes on a new persona as Shay. I loved Bowie because despite what he does and who he is, he did have a heart of gold and would do anything for Shay despite all the crap that was going on around him and his motorcycle club. How could you not fall in love with him?
If you enjoy biker romance with all the action and dirty talking, you really can't go wrong with this author whom I discovered in her co-authored series of Renegade Sons. And this solo effort is well written and up there with the rest of them. Go grab a copy.
