Blurb
When I wake up in a dark, unfamiliar room, I have no
idea what's waiting for me in the shadows. My imagination conjures up demons of
the worst kind.
Reality is much worse:
A collar with no leash. A prison with no walls. And
a life stripped of meaning.
I am presented with a vile contract and asked to
sign. It outlines the terms of my servitude. The only information I have about
my captor are the two small letters inked at the bottom: J.S.
Armed with only my memories, I must do everything I
can to avoid becoming ensnared in his twisted mind games. But in the end, it
all comes down to one choice:
Resist and die.
Or submit, and sign my life away.
Kay's Review
There are so
many books out there these days about captive/captor relationships. I have to
admit, I don't go out of my way to read them. But when the chance review this
one came along something about the blurb caught my attention and I decided to
give it a go.
I'm glad I
did. I loved Lilly. For her strength, her spark and her struggle not to give up
or give in so easily. I never want to be in her situation. But, God forbid, if
I ever did, I would want to have her strength and attitude. She carries this
entire part of the series and you can't help but to root for her and hope she
wins this ruthless mind game between her and Jeremy the a*** hole.
One thing is
for sure. I will be reading the next instalment. Loved it. You don't want to
miss this either. Go and grab a copy when it comes out on March 27.
