Blurb/Synopsis:

When Katrina faces the death of her father, she is left with only one choice. Hire a local demon to help her retrieve a mythical healing stone from deep in the Amazon. However, when the two finally meet, sparks fly. The man is a walking sex god and when he offers to pleasure her in exchange for his services, she finds it hard to refuse.

Damis only intended to have a good time with the beautiful blonde who entered his office. Little did he know, the vixen was not only half demon, but his mate, as well. Can he resist the urge to bond with her? Or will his desire be his downfall?

Kay's Review

Wow. What a hot, hot, read! I need a chilled glass of water now after reading this scorching book.

So Katrina's (Kat's) father is dying of cancer and she goes in search of this mythical stone hidden somewhere in the middle of the Amazon that can heal him. The only person who can get her there in one piece and find the stone is sexy demon Damis with a little help from his friends, Brock and Snake, etc etc.

From the minute Kat meets Damis the page is virtually set alight with their sizzling chemistry. I loved their attraction to each other even though both of them fight it initially. I loved Kat's feistiness and Dami determination. Any hero willing to give up his life for the heroine has my vote. J

This is an erotic romance, so there were loads of action between the sheets although they didn't really have sheets in the Amazon. I would have liked a bit more action and suspense with the story. I mean this was a tale of an adventure through the hot Amazon jungle and I never really got a sense of that. Yes, there was one shoot-out scene along the way but all we 'hear' are gun shots rather than witness a fight scene. I would've loved them to encounter more danger as well as the final showdown to retrieve the stone.

There are a few twists in the tale that will keep you turning the pages, especially around the true impact of the stone and Kat's heritage. All in all, a wonderful way to spend an evening immersed in a book.
