Maya's Review:
A lovely enjoyable read. This author has knows how
to mix humour with heat, and suspense with sexy.
Bridgette has newly moved into a new neighbourhood,
sharing a house with her sister's best friend Cara. Through Cara she meets Troy
who is a firefighter. They initially start interacting via text messages but
things quickly heat up between them. However she'd hiding a secrets from Troy.
She has a boyfriend, David, who turns out to be an ass.
Troy is also hiding his true self behind a mask but
he is hoping Bridge is going to be the woman to accept him for whom he truly
is. Of course when he finds out about David he's not a happy bunny. And of
course, David doesn't go away easily when Bridgette breaks up with him.
This story is packed with panty-melting heat and
heart-thumping suspense. I am certainly persuaded to check out previous
stand-alone books in the series, Fatalism and Determinism.
Thank you for participating in the tour <3 MJ
