Can I just say that I'm in love with the narrator's voice. I'm sure I must have said it before, but he has such a deep, seductive quality in his voice that transports you to each scene as he narrates the story whether it is an action scene or love scene. I have to confess that I prefer to listen to this author's audio books just so I can listen to John Thrust's narration.

As for the story, London has given us a dark paranormal romance in this retelling of Peter Pan and Neverland. I can tell you this is not the Peter Pan you read as a child. These lost boys are very grown up, if you catch my drift, and they each have hidden super powers which they use to fight the darklings. They kind of reminded me of the x-men. Petur doesn't know his full heritage and Grapple the Dark wants to prevent him from ever taking to the throne and to achieve his aims he needs Wyndi.

There's a lot going on here and we get to told the story from different perspectives, so you get to understand each character and their motivations. If you enjoy action, suspense and dark paranormal romance, then you should enjoy this one. Audio books are so easy to listen to. You can do it while doing other things. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

About the Narrator John Thrust

The path that lead me to record erotic literature would make a pretty good story in itself. I may write it someday. It involves a cyber-relationship with a virginal gal whose secret goal in life was to become a full time sex slave. True Story. Her family would have NEVER guessed! I’d been recording regular “vanilla” type books prior to that, as a hobby, with an eye toward becoming a “real” voice actor.
