Friends and family have gathered for a crunch time playtest of C.O.V.E.N.. When a horrible thunderstorm hits, everyone’s sucked into the game for real. In the MMORPG, Hope Collins is kidnapped by Buzz and forced to submit to his whims. Her boyfriend, Alden, has to delay his quest of defeating a clan’s prince to save her, but time and circumstance don’t seem to be on his side. Faith Collins is bombarded by strange dreams brought on by Buzz. Her boyfriend, Tavis, learns to dream walk, but can he help break the spell she’s under and save her before she’s lost to him?

C.O.V.E.N. is more than just a game. It’s a whole other world.

Hold on to your consoles and get ready for a hot ride!

I have to say I've never read anything quite like this but the concept is brilliant. So everyone is gathered around in real life to test this new game multiplayer online role-playing game Clans of Vegas: Endless Night. But right from the first page you can feel something is up. Being in Alden's mind really draws you into the scene and you can feel the tension, the heat, the prickling at the back of his neck that something aint quite right as he surveys all the other gamers/role players who are sending off signals of their game characters.

It turns out everyone got assimilated into the game. Alden's girlfriend Hope is is kidnapped by Buzz and Alden has to abandon his role play quest to go and save her. Meanwhile Faith is plagued by strange dreams brought on by Buzz and her boyfriend Tavis has to learn to dream walk so he can break the spell.

I'm not much into gaming but this story made me want to go pick up a console and use my x-box for more than just watching Netflix movies. LOL. But then again nothing beats reading a great book, in my opinion. And this book is good. Okay, if you're not a science fiction fan, some of it might go over your head. Talking Science Fiction movies, think Tron or even Total Recall. This book messes with your head in the same way. And can I just add that it is HOT too and for adults only.

My verdict? It's an action adventure and steamy romance all rolled into one. I loved it.
